Escape to the Shoreline This Winter

As winter envelops us here at Westbrook Inn, there is a charming feeling along the CT shoreline. The deep winter is a great time to visit! Restaurants are trying out new menu's, our theaters kick off their 2025 seasons, and the inn has wonderful fireplace rooms perfect to get cozy in. The pace is slower and the hospitality is warm.

January is a time for renewal and reset. We spend time reflecting on the previous year, and making our plans for the upcoming season. As many of you see each year, the Westbrook Inn undergoes it's annual refresh. Last year we focused on major infrastructure projects, as well as wallpaper removal, fresh paint and some bathroom redo's. This year we have been working on redecorating The Stannard to get it prime for guest visits. We also will be refreshing the 2 bedroom Cottage on our property and it will be available to rent beginning this Spring. Watch for more updates on this project!

As preparations are underway for the 2025 season at the Inns, you are invited to join us for a rejuvenation winter escape. Take a solo trip or romantic getaway for quality time together,.

Winter Lantern Festival at Lyman Orchards- Immerse yourself in a magical display of over 1,000 handmade Chinese lanterns, showcasing glowing animals, festive holiday scenes, and whimsical garden sculptures that enchant visitors of all ages. Watch the majestic beauties glide along the river or get up close and personal aboard RiverQuest. RiverQuest Cruises and classes begin February 7, 2025.
